When will my parcel be shipped?

Most products advertised is located in Auckland, New Zealand and upon receiving your payment we ship products in stock out within 24 hours, except weekends and public holidays.

If you choose to pay via Internet Banking or Direct Bank Deposit, we need to wait for the payment to clear in our account before processing the order for the courier pick up. So if you need your order fast, payment via Credit Card, Visa Debit or PayPal will speed up the process.

There are products listed on Mixed Media Art Supplies that are shipped from other parts of the country.  These are our products listed by our independent advertisers.  Although Mixed Media Art Supplies is constantly in close contact with our independent advertisers, we cannot be held responsible for their business practices.

A few of the products listed on Mixed Media Art Supplies are imported.  Because we buy these products in bulk directly from the manufacturer, there might be a delay in shipping.  This time frame will never be longer than 4 weeks unless otherwise stated.  We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this delay.  It is an unfortunate necessity in order to pass the savings on to you, our valued customer.

If there is an imported product listed with delayed shipping and you would like to have it shipped to you sooner, please contact us in order to arrange a different shipping method.  It is possible to have the item shipped to you sooner with additional shipping charges.   The product will then be shipped to you directly from the manufacturer via airfreight within 7 days with additional charges

How will my parcel be packaged?

Most orders are bubble wrapped for extra protection and sent in Track & Trace Trackpaks.

Please provide us with a valid e-mail address at the time of placing the order.  We will email your tracking number and a link to the courier service used as soon as your order is packed.

Please note that by clicking on the tracking link it may not give you updated information for a few hours – the tracking number is only recorded with the courier service used once they have picked up your parcel from our warehouse.

New Zealand wide orders are shipped by either Courier Post for smaller parcels or New Zealand Post Haste for larger items or bulk orders.

When will my parcel arrive?

Parcels are delivered between 9 am and 5 pm Monday – Friday to your chosen shipping address. Please note that delivery times do not include Saturdays, Sundays or Public Holidays.

If you have not received your parcel within 48 hours (excluding non-delivery days as stated above) you may email sales@mixedmediaartsupplies.com or use our contact form online.

We will track and trace your parcel and endeavor to do our best to get your parcel delivered to you as soon as possible. Mixed Media Art Supplies will not be responsible or liable for any lost or missing parcels during transit.

Estimated delivery times are to be used as a guide only and commence from the date of dispatch.

  • Major Cities: 4 -7 working days
  • Other cities: 7-10 working days
  • Regional areas: 7-14 working days
  • Remote areas: 10-14 working days

Please Note: For Rural Deliveries, please allow an extra day for delivery. A surcharge may apply for this service.

How much will shipping cost?

The delivery fees are absolutely FREE OF CHARGE New Zealand wide (except rural areas) for all orders over $60.00.

Shipping New Zealand wide will be calculated as follows:

  • Orders under $60.00                       Flat rate $6.00
  • Orders over $60.00                          Free of charge*
  • Rural Addresses                                Flat rate $9.30
  • *Rural addresses can enjoy free shipping with orders over $90.00

Please ensure that you enter your shipping address correctly as we cannot redirect orders once they have been shipped.  A signature is required upon receipt. Courier Post will not leave parcels at your door if you are not home to accept your delivery.

Should the courier be unable to deliver, a card will be left to inform the recipient how they can collect their parcel or arrange re-delivery. It then becomes the recipient’s responsibility to contact the relevant delivery company to arrange a suitable re-delivery date.

If no contact is made, re-delivery may be attempted without further contact with the recipient.

Mixed Media Art Supplies accept no liability if delivery is not made due to the recipient not being available, or if goods become unsuitable as a result of non-delivery.

Should the recipient of the order not be available to accept the parcel at the time of delivery or not attempt to redirect the parcel or make alternative arrangements directly with the Courier Company, the parcel will be returned to the Mixed Media Art Supplies dispatch warehouse.

In this case two options becomes available:

  • the value of the order (excluding shipping) may be refunded;
  • or the order could be reshipped at an additional charge for shipping if applicable.

Other important Shipping information you may want to know

Deliveries will be made to the address that you have selected and Mixed Media Art Supplies cannot accept any liability for late or failed delivery if the quoted address is incorrect.

In the event that you select a business address Mixed Media Art Supplies shall be deemed to have delivered the product to its intended recipient by delivering it to the reception area at the business address and receiving from a duly authorized representative at the business address a signed receipt of delivery.

Please note that we cannot deliver to a P.O. Box due to the fact that you have to sign for the parcel in person.

You are welcome to have your parcel delivered to a work address, a friend or family member of your choice.  If you choose this option, please email us with the new recipient’s details in order for us to update your delivery instructions before shipping your parcel.  Once a parcel is dispatched, Mixed Media Art Supplies cannot be held responsible for non-delivery if the address was entered incorrectly.

While we don’t have an option in the checkout process for International orders, please contact us if you live outside New Zealand borders as we may be able to help.
